July’s dose of Moor Music aired on Friday on Digitally Imported, and included the first official play from Andy of yet another new track from the man himself, ‘So Much More’ featuring the delightful Carrie Skipper.

This was joined by some of the hottest tunes around at the moment and a pair of AVA Recordings exclusives from Wandii and Tydi.

This “interesting” photo was passed on to us after a recent gig in Buenos Aires where Andy & Solarstone literally played back-2-back sets. After a few minor studio tweaks, ‘Fake Awake’ is now complete, and includes two mixes from Andy himself.

We are proud to announce that AVA Recordings has teamed up with top UK label Anjunabeats to release this little monster.

After completing the original mix, Andy didn’t want to stop working on this tune, so has started a new series of mixes called “Ecomix”, a process of remixing his original tracks.

“The Ecomix means that  I can recycle the audio parts that are already there, often using a bassline that I discounted earlier in the project - as I always make so many parts for each tune that never make it into the final mix - and allow me to develop that idea easily and more efficiently” states Andy.

He continues, “Due to this, my studio is not active for as long, saving on electricity and gas heating. This will allow others to leave their audio listening equipment on for longer - guilt free - knowing that my Ecomixes are saving energy on their behalf.”

“…and as my studio uses less non-renewable energy than a Boeing 777, the more Ecomixes I produce, the less I will be flying saving valuable fuel, cutting the cost of petrol (gas) and allowing Americans to drive those SUV’s just a little while longer.”
