Who/what/where/why etc, tell us a bit about yourself Well, thought would get this going as helps to get to know each other better. To get the ball rolling . . . I met Andy from living up the road from him and us both being into footy and knowing a few good tunes I talked a good game so he asked me to help out so now I try and keep all the online stuff focused and sorted and a load of other stuff that goes on in the background. Its a steep learning curve but the music is great and the odd gig thrown in keeps me happy . . . when I'm let out!

I'll give this a spin...... I am an old man (34) and have been into the dance scene for almost 20 years now. I went to my first warehouse party at 16 and it was a life changing experience, just an incredible and intense experience. Following that I have been in and out of the club scene every since, having the luck of following the whole progressive scene in the early 90's (Drum Club, Underworld, Chemical Brothers, Darren Emerson, Fabi Paras etc) which kind of evolved into the Euro trance scene over the next couple of years (through Oakenfold, Sven Vath, Eye Q records, Harthouse). From this came the whole British Goa scene (Dragonfly, TIP, Flying Rhino and all the characters that went along with it). During each of these different evolving scenes I can clearly recall very specific nights of listening to music and just thinking, wow this is mind blowing. A combination of atmosphere, music, venue and yummies just leave you with that feeling of being utterly blown away by what you just experienced. Well roll on a few years. I am older, have kids am and not really capable of going out every weekend anymore, so I pick and choose my nights out. Several years ago (maybe 3-4 years) I first heard some of Andys productions. I was blown away, his music seemed to be able to bring together the very best elements of what makes "dance" music the ultimate music for me. The psychadelic depth and of trance without being to hard, the funkiness of house, the spaciness of gated vocals, the pure sexiness of killer vocals and most importantly the ability to produce absolutely killer melodies. These different facets combined with his obvious talent as a musician and producer just set him literally miles above anything else I was hearing at that time. It seemed to me that almost every release was an instant classic, just leagues ahead of the competition. So having not been out clubbing for a couple of years I have made it a point to see Andy play almost every time he hits San Francisco (I am an expat and have lived here 8 years now) and (going back to the start of this ramble) he recaptures those feelings of 20 years ago at my first warehouse party, sheer exhilaration at the unbelievable depth of his music. So there you have it, a monster ramble which in essence says top work Andy, you are right up there with the very best talent I have had the pleasure of listening to over more years than I would care to remember. Keep it up

Wow! I totally skipped this forum. I signed up for the AVA Recordings forum ... but that seems to be a huge mess nowadays, tons of errors when posting . I was born in India (also still an Indian) ... but I was raised up in the war torn countries of Lebanon, Jordan & Israel. Did a couple of years of CompSci in Toronto till I realized that it just wasn't doing it for me. Now I'm back here, studying Audio Engineering. Circle of ... never mind. Anywell, I only started getting into electronic when Prodigy's "Fat of the Land" kicked into the music stores. Since then, it's been a filtered uphill drive and now ... I'm happily here. I missed so many chances to see Andy live, but due to my age restriction ... I was left as an outcast outside the venues. Now, lets get cracking shall we? p.s: Nice to meet you all

Well my name is Ramy,
I'm Lebanese currently living in Montreal. Been into EDM since 1998 (i'm 24). I've been a HUGE fan of Andy sine i heard him the first time in Lebanon Beirut. And since then Andy hasn't stopped impressing me.
I met Andy earlier this year in Montreal where he had a gig @ Stereo afterhour. It was my friend's birthday in Lebanon (also a huge fan of him) so i asked him if he could wish her a happy birthday on the phone. Of course he had to go through a couple of jokes before revealing his real identity but it was really awesome of him to do that. I'll never forget that. Andy really awesome guy amazing dj's. On that same night i also met Chris Allen really amazing guy too.
AVA recordings amazing people keep up the amazing work. Full support all the way !!
Well that's a bit about me and my story with Andy.
Good to meet u people

Hello everybody, My name is Mihajlo (Michael on English), but I'm better known as kim0. I've been dj-ing since 2005 and till then played on many events in Belgrade and in few events in Croatia, Bulgaria, Hungary and Maccedonia. Mostly, Balkanies countries. Worked as host in many clubs here and currently I'm involved with Soundmute Recordings label (mostly deep progressive techno and ambient music releases). Besides that I love melodies, so I started producing music with my friend in the year 2007. After few silly attempts, we created a project and called it PRUDENTIA. You may wonder why that name.. It's a latin word for wisdom, foresight. And we wanted just to be different, not usual name. We are making melodic music and piano is like our trademark )) Till now we relesed 2 remixes and in april there will be our first EP on System Recordings. If you would like to know more: http://www.myspace.com/prudentiamusic I must admit that Andy is making really cool tunes lately. Waiting for more fresh and tasty music! Best regards to all!!! kim0

Hi all... My name is Sasa and I'm from a small European country Croatia. I am a big fan of trance music, especially vocal and uplifting trance. But I also listen to other genres. I saw Andy Moor only once and it was in Ljubljana in Slovenia. The date was 20.12.2008. and the club was called InBox. It was a great night, lot's of good music. I hope I'll be able to see him again soon.
